Helpful Point For Ladies

Postby Tommo » Wed Mar 27, 2019 7:31 pm

I see the Ladies team got an unexpected point due to the opposition only turning up with 10 players. That takes them out of the relegation places on (much better) goal difference.

9 Forest Green Rovers Ladies First Played 17 GD -39 Points 10
10 Torquay United Ladies Played 18 GD -70 Points 10
11 Downend Flyers Women Played 19 GD -118 Points 0

Its going to be close and we have to play the top 2 sides next so it may get worse before it gets better. I wish the team good luck.

where do i find this 'ere league table Tommo ?

really hope they can avoid relegation and 'crack on' next season.

ladies football very very important /high profile these days-and feel both in performance and 'marketing ' of the feminino's, FGR are lagging behind .

(difficult when so many FGR supporters are 'older' generation' and maybe have 'closed minds/old fashioned values '

Maybe the recruitment director who seems to have done a good job for the mens team ,needs to spread his wings and embrace recruitment/scouting for the ladies team.

Ladies football is serious stuff .
minimally-FGR should be alongside Yeovil ladies

as long as they don't lose about 30-0 to keynsham then, looks like its all down to the last game of the season v Portishead

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
