Half time ; Yeovil 0 FGR 0. Sounds like Rovers are playing well and creating chances.

We 4 Musketeers travelled to Huish last night - very pleased to have done so

First time I have been to Huish. Stadium is 25 years old but still looking very fresh - a lesson in clever design and good materials - pointed brickwork rather than plaster, lightweight cantilevered structure all looks good inside and out. Surface was as slick as it gets. 300 odd locals were very welcoming and appreciative of both sides efforts

In the end, without Gabbiadini we were outgunned. First half was tight. After a nervous first 15 minutes, Rovers played some flowing football and had some good chances. Yeovil came back at the end of the half but good defending and 'keeping kept it at 0-0 at the break. 10 minutes into the second half, Yeovil notched a well worked opener, and that seemed to burst the bubble - they found confidence, we sagged. 4-0 was a fair reflection of the half but harsh considering the efforts of the team as a whole.

Glad I went. Congratulations to Scotty and the boys on getting this far. So much more to come from his charges

This is Yeovil's first season of having an academy team in quite a while. Shows the difference between the standards you can quickly achieve with football league funding and category 3 status.

Cracking 3rd Goal.

Is there a reason why our side weren't wearing our strip?

Quite simply weren't allowed to wear green or white, there was a story behind the new look on the web yesterday, which explained all.

Couldn't make the game last night, but seen the previous FAYC matches, this is a talented group, but without Gabbiadini they look a little light up front, his pace and obviously goal scoring ability is a huge loss to the side. They've done really well to come through to this stage, especially the 2 games v Hungerford. Shows the need for the Academy to make the next step up though.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
