GOALS GOALS 2012-2013

Guess the correct results, scores and attendances for Rovers!

End of October...under a third of our games played and we've banged in 31 goals........we have often taken into the new year so score this number! So a goal tally in the 90's still looks likely if we are to maintain our league form and have a decent run in the cups

However if you think that's good going look at Coalville 3 leagues below us - they have scored 64 already! 200 possible?

As for our scorers, eleven on the chart already but the leaders are:

Matty Taylor - 7
Yan Klukowski - 7
Reece Styche - 3
Ben Wright - 3
James Norwood - 3
Magno Vieira - 3

Matty and Yan are heading for a total in the 20's but don't write off any of the top six with another possible 35 games to play.

Get 'em in Rovers

10/11/12

Going Up! After the four we banged in against Stockport and back to back wins we are 3rd in the table with 38 goals scored

It's worth remembering in seasons 09/10 and 10/11 we only scored in the 50s in whole seasons!! We will certainly be back to the 90's this year and may well crack the magic ton.

Yan Klukowski - 9
Matty Taylor - 7
James Norwood - 5
Reece Styche - 4
Ben Wright - 3
Magno Vieira - 3

Others in midfield/attack chip in but our leading goalscorer will come from this pack. Who would bet against Yan again. Last year no-one had predicted him being top scorer: ths year he has five backers and is already 2nd in the all time list of FGR Conference goalscorers

Into December and 43 scored and the goal difference stands at +14

Nors is starting to bang them in and it's starting to look like the Golden Boot will go to one of these four:

Yan Klukowski - 9
Matty Taylor - 9
James Norwood - 7
Reece Styche - 5

Into January but still 7 matches to play this month - 7 more goals and we will have beaten the whole seasons' totals for 2010 and 2011

52 goals scored and 22 matches to play.......hopefully a total in the 90s is on

Top scorer will surley come from these four - hopefully Nors will be around to move towards getting 20+

Yan Klukowski - 10
James Norwood - 10
Matty Taylor - 9
Reece Styche - 6

End of January:

57 scored and 17 games to play, only 6 away from The New Lawn

Still expecting a goal total in the 90s

After Luton

James Norwood - 11
Yan Klukowski - 11
Matty Taylor - 11
Reece Styche - 7

Three leading with 16 games to go.....but ignore Reece at your peril

As the goals are being divided up this year, it's quite possible no-one will reach the magic 20.

Don't be too sure pf, tonights hat-trick means nors only needs 6 from 15 games, plus hopefully 2 play-off semis and a wembley trip

63 Up 13 to play. Just 5 to beat last year's total and already well past 2010 and 2011. Total in the 90s ( as in 2008 and 2009 may be too much to expect?)

As for individual scorers Nors just may make 20

James Norwood - 14
Yan Klukowski - 12
Matty Taylor - 11
Reece Styche - 7

67 with Nors on 16

Looking like 80 will be tops unless we have a really good run in

Top scorer? Must be NORS unless he picks up a suspension

70 up

Nors on 17

4 games to play

Looks like Nors will be top scorer, just predicted by GFA. As for FGR, we've passed the totals for the last four years but fallen short of the kind of total that would get us into the play offs - mid to upper 70s now likely

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
