Here goes my annual analysis of this competition.

2 predictors have selected the same 5 teams in the same order, a first, Greenstripe & Tommo both go Tranny, Imps, Green, Barrow, Daggers.

Altogether 9 teams have been selected

Selected in 1st place
Tranny 9, Imps 6, Green 5 and Dover 3

Selected in 2nd
Imps 8, Tranny 7, Barrow 4, Green 3 & Dover 1

Selected 3rd
Imps 8, Barrow 7, Tranny 5 & Green 3

Selected 4th
Green 8, Barrow 6, Dover 5, Daggers 2 and Imps & Tranny 1 each.

Selected 5th
Daggers 8, Dover 6, Chester 3, Barrow & Macca 2 each and Green & Shots 1 each.

Total selections (max23)
Imps 23, Tranny & Barrow 22 each, Green 20, Dover 12, Daggers 10, Chester 3, Macca 2 and Shots 1

Giving 1st 5pts down to 5th 1pt gives the following table
Tranny 90pts
Imps 88pts
Barrow 66pts
Green 63pts
Dover20pts
Daggers 12pts
Chester 3pts
Macca 2pts
Shots 1pt

Thanks Greeners Jnr, this year's league is the most fascinating I can remember - although it does look like 5 from 6, there are at least 9 teams with a genuine chance of a play off place. As for Champions, it's pick one from 5. Despite Lincoln's current dominance they have been shown to be prone to slip ups. We are in there fighting, whatever the gloom merchants say.

So at the beginning of January, 8 predictors have all five teams,Hedgehog has the first 4 in the correct order but chooses The Daggers for 5th, rather than Barrow.

Vote on Twitter for likely National League Champions

Lincoln 56%
Tranmere 31%
FGR 9%
Barrow 4%

Imps and Tranny make it look like a two horse race, but more likely reflects their larger fan base and Lincoln's current lead

Listen, Pitchfork, I have predicted the right teams, but not necessarily in the right order. ;)

Hedgehog remains the only predictor with all 5 top teams and she now has both Lincoln and Dover in the right slots

Hedgehog is very impressive in this competition: she is the only one with all 5 teams......AND she has the first three in the correct order!! It's quite possible all five will be correct after the final game.

Current Table

LINCOLN
TRANMERE
FGR
DAGENHAM
DOVER

A quick scan and no-one looks to have the top 5. Several look to have 4, will find out the person with most in the right order in the next couple of days - any help appreciated.

That took a while, but hopefully this is correct

No-one ( hardly surprising) had all the top five but most of you had some of the teams!

These had 4 teams but none in the right slots - Fartvs,Operator,Foggy,

Linfield, FGRKid, Tommo and Greenstripe had 4 teams with one team in the right slot

Hedgehog had 4 teams with 3 teams (the top 3) in the right order

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe we have a clear winner

CONGRATULATIONS HEDGEHOG!!

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
