Southport the 4th game in 10 days, so far 9 points with no goals conceded.

Hugely positive predictions again, 31 for an away win, FGRKid and Urban Spaceman for the draw, no-one forecasting a defeat.

It's close at the top of this month's competition,an even closer climax in The Colin Gardner Shield. Joycie has been top for almost all the season but four others are now within two points of the top

Final Home match of the season against MAIDSTONE - again optimism reigns supreme with 31 predicting a home win and just two the draw (Titch & Linfield)

It's going to be an interesting finish to both the April mini league and the seasonal Colin Gardner Shield

As all know by now Pitchfork is taking a sabbatical from running this competition and The Old TomCat (me) will continue it next season.
I’m hoping to maintain the same level of support as enjoyed by PF.
I’ve been led to believe that there are a few winners who have not claimed their money yet, and it has been suggested that they use this cash for entry to next season’s competition. This also applies to any future winners.
[If so please let Pitchfork know and he will set the money aside]

The money does add an extra edge to competition: it is always nice to received an occasional winning Bonus but it helps out in areas of the club outside the first team such as Ambassadors, youth teams and ladies teams.

Do please book onto next season’s competition as soon as convenient. It saves time chasing you guys for payment. I’ll post something up when the 2017/18 fixture list is available.

Thanks

Most people who have won money this season have been given their winnings...but there is still a fair amount outstanding. If you want to use it to enter 1. Tomcat's competition next year
2. collect it from reception or
3. gift it to the SC please note your intention below.

I believe Tomcat is keeping the fee at £15 and he already has voodoobluesman and myself signed up.

Stanman £15 winnings top scorer
Greeners £2.50 joint 3rd August
theoperator £5
smertens £15.50 credit from Feb & March
greeners junior £15 Feb & Dec
onlineracingclub £7 to pay
greenjohn £5 surplus from 15-16 winnings
Redunited £25 winnings Nov & Feb
Linfield £5.50 Feb
chopsy£12.50 credit from March
greenstripe £2-50 credit from 3rd= in Sept
Urban Spaceman £13 winnings January & Feb
GFA £15 winnings top scorer
Roy of the rovers £3 winnings Feb
Ned£12.50 credit from March

I don't think there's ever been so many different potential outcomes for a month going into the final game.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
