October's Predictions

Guess the correct results, scores and attendances for Rovers!

October 2017, sponsored by Tim B, who has at last got his predictions in, has become the lowest scoring month on record!!

This is due to the excellent, unexpected 3 away performances and the very disappointing home result against Newport. Hardly anyone has gained points for the scores or the results, just the odd few points for scorer and crowd.

Tomorrow, lets hope OTC is very busy tabulating points after a memorable win.

Silver Surfer and Greeners have a narrow one point lead over NewForest Rover, then Fartvs one point behind them. Then 3 on 8 points and 5 on 7.

It's wide open with one to go!

In that case I'm doomed.

Unless Dan W plays instead of Doidge, Bugiel and Brown!

Nil despairum.
If KMB scores only goal of game, you'll end up as October champ, and in the money.

Dan Wishart would need to score and no-one attend for NFR to win!

No so.
A 1-0 win with Wishart or KMB scoring would take NFR to top of table.
A goalless draw would take Red United to top.
One thing is sure that either Greener of Sliver Surfer will not finish at top. [Greener has home win while Silver Surfer has an away win.]
Attendances could perhaps come into final positions, but likely not.

FGR 2-0 Morecambe
KMB, Scott Laird

Attendance: 2515

16 of our predictas gained points on this game but it was Fartvs Antiqvvs who had best of the week which put him joint top of monthly table.

Congrats therefore to Fartvs Antiqvvs, Greeners & New Forest Rover who have all ended up in the money.
Special mention must be given to NFR who achieved such good score without posting any forecast attendances.

Pitchfork, Silver Surfer & Tommo currently top of season's scores.

Next week FGR v Macclesfield and start of another monthly competition.
Good luck all.

That is why I use a spreadsheet.
I know the maths are perfect but am always worried I input wrong info.
That is one reason for me adding forthcoming forecasts alongside table so if I've got it wrong it can be changed before game.

Hi
For some reason I have had to ignore a warning about the identity of imgur in order to see the spread sheet.
It is now showing.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
