Inaugural AGM Tonight

Postby FGR Supporters Club » Thu Oct 29, 2015 10:39 am

A reminder to all Members of the Supporters Club that the Inaugural AGM of the combined Supporters Groups takes place this evening at 7pm in the Carol Embey Suite.

All Members should have received their official Notice of Meeting, incorporating the Agenda.

As a pre cursor to the meeting itself, Ady Pennock has agreed to act as our warm up man and with the assistance of Bob Hunt, will conduct a Fans Forum style Q&A session.

Any fan not yet signed up as a Member of the Supporters Club can do so by downloading an application form http://www.forestgreenroversfc.com/down ... 20form.pdf

Completed forms together with the relevant fee can be handed in at the door this evening. Existing Season Ticket holders and FGR Members are eligible for free membership this season but we still need a completed form and will require sight of your Season Ticket/Membership Card.

We look forward to a good turnout.

There was a very good turnout with most fans staying on for both the Fans' Forum and the new Supporters' Club inaugural AGM.

Ady answered questions for over an hour on a range of topics. He was candid and straightforward in his responses.

The new SC committee has representatives from the old SC and the Trust and most importantly new blood, fans who have stepped forward to help the SC move forward.

Following on from our inaugural AGM. It's our second AGM tomorrow night.

Things have gone ok in our first season after the amalgamation of the Supporters Club and Supporters Trust.

If you are interested in becoming a board member and getting involved please get in touch. It's NOT a closed shop.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
