Membership of FGR Supporters Club is £10 for adults and £5 for Juniors. There are no free memberships this season.

These are some of the things the Supporters Club has planned:-

Rovers Raffle: At each home match In aid of Supporters Club. 50p per ticket. First prize of at least £75. First prizes so far £200, £275, £100, £125.

This Saturday – Gateshead match - First Prize at least £225.

Meet the Manager (Formerly called Fans Forums): First one already held with Mark Cooper, two more planned this season. Future ones probably midweek evenings.

Race Nights - Fridays: -16th September, 24th February.

More details on the forthcoming Race Night soon. We will be asking for people to sponsor horses and races.

Quiz Nights - Fridays - 18th November, 21st April.

Supporters Club Matches: 29 Oct, 1 Jan, and 18 March.

Use of Black & White lounge. Meet some players etc. Draw for a junior member to be match day mascot.

Forest Focus: First edition early in the regular season.

Supporters Club Draw: last home match before Christmas – Dover 17 Dec. All Supporters Club members entered for free.

Away Travel – in conjunction with FGR. It was good to see a full coach for the Boreham Wood match. We are away to Woking on Tuesday. Travel Club membership for the new season is £27.60 per month – and that guarantees your place on the coach for every away league game at an average price of just £12 – a huge saving on match-by-match prices. Supporters who would like more information or to join the Travel Club can contact Richard Gray by emailing rwg@rwkaccounting.co.uk.

FGR season ticket holders, Club Members and Supporters Club members continue to earn a discount on travel with a two match category system (based on mileage) in place again this season.

Group A fixtures are just £14 for members, £8 for under 16s and £19 for non-members. While Group B games are £18 for members, £11 for under 16s and £23 for non-members.

The online booking system means that fans can easily book and pay for their seats online. Simply go to the online FGR club shop to view the next series of away fixtures that are available. You can also book by via the FGR Reception, either in person or by calling 01453 834860, with Reception open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

Supporters Director: Martin Williams - martin.williams3455@gmail.com - is your representative on the FGR Main Executive Board, and continues to raise your issues at Board Level.

GRASS ROOTS: We are also just about to re-launch GRASS (do you remember GRASS?) as GRASS ROOTS and more information on this will be given soon. GRASS ROOTS will exclusively support the development of FGR Ladies and the FGR Youth set up and we hope that you will get behind this to help support the branches of FGR away from the spot light of the first team

One of our more senior supporters has asked whether anybody is in a position to help them get to matches at FGR from Tetbury.

If you are able to assist please e-mail Neil, Supporters Club Secretary, n.h.munro@btinternet.com

Thanks

Don't forget the Southport game on bank holiday Monday sees a trial of the new supporters bar in the a EESI stand ,please spread the word as its success is completely reliant on how much it is used. The FGR Supporters Club have purchased a TV for the Marquee in the EESI Stand to enable supporters to watch the football scores etc. It will be in place for the Bank Holiday Monday match.

With a very big thank you to Mark Coles of Coles Electrical.

I think that this is exactly the sort of thing the Supporters Club should use its finances for. Very good

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
