I'm happy with that starting line up although we will miss both Tonkin and Giles. If I'd been picking Jamie would have been in instead of Stoney but I'm sure Paul will give 100% and he is due a start.

I imagine Stoney will be filling in at left back in place of Tonks? Probably why he is starting ahead of Jamie? May also be because Jamie played on Friday, don't know if he is fit enough to start a game 3 days later as he hasn't played much recently...?

Looks like Jim is still believing, going for quite an attacking line-up.

Exeter lost 3 -1 at Weymouth. Exeter having four booked and one sent off!

So anything can still happen.

Fans could be heard chanting OFF OFF OFF - for head butting apparently. That's 3 games suspension!!

After talking to spectators, Bob Hunt reckons he simulated receiving a head butt - if this is true it's inexplicable. Fleets often holds his head if mystified and this does not mean he thinks he's been headbutted!

Hopefully the truth will come out!

Seems like we have a death wish when on the radio. First the self destruct button at Altrincham now Torquay. I don't think that Torquary will struggle through our 10 men like Alty struggled to score against 9. I suspect we are in for a thrashing now.

Pity. It seems uncertain why Fleets was sent off but his temper has been gettin worse recently so I'm not astonished.

Hopefully we can keep the score reasonable.

SO; 1-0 behind, down to ten men and our top striker out for 3 of the remaining 7 games

Bit of a death knell for our season then...... :x

Pure stupidity really isnt it ... we have an outside chance of playoffs and now argueably our best player has been sent off. missing for three games now. This game has gone now , concentrate on next week. Jim must be very angry with fleets....

Fleetwood thinks he is too good for us, it has been apparent ever since all the speculation in January.

Sounds like there's plenty of fight there, but the confidence must have taken a knocking. I bet Fleets is spitting feathers but there's no excuse for a head butt

It's time for Celi to prove his worth - if he can sit back a bit in the 2nd half with DCB ahead of him then we can still hope.

JH will no doubt have plan B to talk thru at HT. We will miss Fleets against Burton as well as 2nd half today.
Sounds like LES is having another good game and he would be very unlucky to be substituted. My guess is Welsh will come off and the final score will be 3-1

They have had 3 in the book so with luck it could be 10 v 10 at sometime in 2nd half

Why would Fleets think he's too good for us, he wouldn't have rejected Crewe and stayed would he !!!

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
