Nice. That's the defence sorted for the season for better or worse. I'm glad we have more full back cover and, overall, I think the defence will be a bit stronger this year as long as the goalies are in good form.

Welcome Dom!

Is it simply cover or will Shephard be getting a transfer to a higher league club -would not surprise me -most excellent player ?

Shep wasn’t involved tonight. He had a knee op in the summer and is still bandaged so think this lad is to cover him. Did well tonight. Reminds me of Wishart but with two feet !!

Welcome Dom - you seemed to be at home v Swindon Supermarine

NFR will be happy - Dom's resemblance to Dan Wishart is striking!

Its the weekend, and time to catch up with all the interviews on the main site.

Clicking on the interview with Dom Bernard and the Quick fire Questions, they both come up as the same 25 second slow motion clip of a pair of guys looking at mobile phones. Is there something that I'm missing ?

Nah, probably something the person who loaded the content up is missing. Testing?

Quickfire questions now mended, but not the initial interview. It's not the first time this has happened recently and the problem can be that if you do not clear cache you stand a chance of never finding out whether mended or not.

Did you log in before you start the video, if you don't you only get a snip-it.

I thought all that login stuff had been abandoned as it didn't really work and was more trouble than it was worth.

I've looked at the video as posted on you-tube. It appears to be for public viewing but just has the 25-second non-relevant clip.

Personally I can't see the point of hiding videos like this behind logins.

Defensive cover ?, - last Saturday he came on as a second-half substitute initially at left-back at Salisbury, but after a few minutes was changed to a right-winger, where he stayed until the final whistle. Must be versatile !.

That right wing would be wing back it just against The teams like Yate and Salisbury there isn’t much defending to do.

Very good interview. We do seem to be signing some personable and articulate young men. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? discuss!

Nowt to discuss really, as long as they are as articulate with the foot and the head. ;)

That's the 60 seconds, which was corrected. The interview is still "broken".

Stanman found a link to the interview on youtube but to be honest the quality of the video is lacking somewhat.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
