Team/Players of the Season So Far

I don’t think this is yet elsewhere on the Forum. Looks about right to me. Joe Mills has only had a few average games and Adams has been terrific recently since missing games when on duty with Gambia.

agree .

don't stand still though-the aim must be to get at least one more player-and hopefully two in the team of the season ,by the end of the season.

Shepherd very capable ,and at least one more

Will be interesting to check out the Plymouth keeper Alex Palmer tomorrow, to see how good he is.

Probably means that shots on target quota will need to go up to get anything out of the game.

The way Adams is progressing I can see him being one of the stand out stars for League 2 by end of the season.

FGR top of table with two players nominated for Team of Season is great news but at same time it will be attracting scouts from other clubs looking to pinch one or more of our Crown Jewels in January's transfer window.
Having said that MC has stated on more than one occasion that he is looking to strengthen the squad, so it may well be out of the door goes one of ours for a better replacement.

agree OTC -but that is surely part of the clubs business plan and modus operandi-and its what the club 'stands for 'and thus wants and needs .

as supporters we similarly need to want and accept it as part of the ethos surely

How the hell is Eoin Doyle not included in the team. Scored 14, seven more than both Hanson and Rose.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
