Missed the first one, stream wasn't working for a bit, second was so soft it's criminal but we seem to do those half-baked passes when our heads are down. Then that last bit after Ebou got crocked summed up the difference. Whack it into their box, great opportunity put goalwards but well tipped over. Not much prospect of a comeback with Odin out so early, can only hope vale's strong early pressing has puffed them out.

Cooper’s post match interview (for the fifth week running) will be:
“We didn’t do much wrong/ not much difference between the sides/ we let in horrendous goals/ we just couldn’t score.”

Even billybob doesnt like the new keeper. Hope ebou is okay, looked like he was kicked in the throat and threw up.

Bailey and Adams both injured then, for good measure.

We clearly miss (Joe) Mills and Shep. And while we played with energy and some skill up until their first goal, the same problems are recurring.

And yes, Thomas should be in goal. As one of my neighbours observed on Saturday, as Walsall's second went in, "at least Conrad Logan is consistent".

Started well - good first 10 mins
Just can’t buy a goal
Their high press gives us no time hence we deliver Schoolboy defending and gift them 2 goals
Windy and ebou miles off - everything gas to go through them and we’re just too slow and predictable - at the minute teams must love playing against us - pack the midfield with 3 - pick up all the loose ball and fill your boots!
Don’t hold out any hope of a miracle happening here
Have we enough points to avoid the drop?

You are forgetting the "listen, listen" while he think of some excuse, then the "I've got broad shoulders, very broad" when he talks about how he doesn't give two hoots what anyone thinks of him.

100% safe from the drop. And would be so even if two teams were going down. 75% or higher chance of heading for midtable mediocrity.

Is it really a good first 10 minutes if it results in nothing? Just some clever passing isnt it?

45 minutes of this half for Cooper to save his job.

Bob having another shocker, it's not just the wrong names (our own players not even on the pitch Oh, for goodness sake!), he says stuff that isn't happening, like ball into box when it isn't. What's the point of a commentary that doesn't describe the game?

Assuming the dross continues second half, since the start of december that'll be;

Won 2, drawn 4, lost 8.
10 points from a possible 42.
Shocking.

Not there tonight but I would hope that, if this persists (and barring a second half miracle), there is a resounding chorus of “you’re getting sacked in the morning” at the end of the match from all sides of the ground!

Pathetic.. when will we win again... even Ruben Reid has scored tonight. At least I nearly guessed the crowd right!

Cooper is a human being so I don’t want to be overly harsh or personal. all I’ll say is that despite having a season ticket I won’t be returning until he’s no longer the manager.

Pitty Winchester wasn’t taking penalties when if we scored they actually counted for something!!! Hope we score 3 in 10 mins though

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
