Silent auction for signed Wembley prize

Postby The Old TomCat » Thu Jun 08, 2017 8:08 am ... bley-prize
Be in with the chance to win a presentation board signed by the whole Forest Green Rovers promotion winning squad and Sky Sports very own Jeff Stelling in a special silent auction.

The board, which was signed by the players in the changing room at Wembley after picking up the National League play-off winners trophy, would be a memorable item to own for any FGR fan who would like their own bit of personalised history from the most significant achievement in FGR’s history.

Money raised from the highest bidder will go directly to Prostate Cancer UK who visited The New Lawn on Sunday with Stelling for his March for Men 15 day marathon challenge. The Sky Sports presenter is looking to raise £500,000 to support the charity.

To make a bid for the board email with your offer, ensuring you title the email subject 'Prostate Cancer UK silent auction'.

The deadline for bids is on Friday 16 June – so get your offers in to be in with a great chance of winning a Wembley promotion memento and to help support Prostate Cancer UK.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
