Exeter don't score that many, and we're better then a lot of people think. Just cut out the stupid mistakes and stay tighter as a unit and we'll start winning games.

2-1 FGR

I'm sure we will have learned some valuable lessons from Saturday and actually this league, despite (or perhaps even because of) the 'arms race' to sign Premier League / Championship players on long loans during the transfer window, is actually a lot closer than people might think. After all we might be one place above the relegation zone but we're also still only 4 points off the play-off places!

I think we can bring Exeter down with a bump and so FGR 4 - 2 Exeter.

I really think these 2 teams are in false positions at the moment. Don't get me wrong I can see Exeter finishing in the playoffs again and maybe they will go up but they're not a team we should feel intimidated by. Despite my own pessimistic outlook after those dreadful performances of the last 2 Saturday's I can see our home comforts coming through for us. I'm going for a 3-1 victory. Seems mad I know but I've got a feeling there will be a few players with a point to prove. COYR
...Because we know Tranmere will come back but it's WOOLERY AT THE OTHER ENNNNNDDDD......GOAL 3-1 to Forest Green

If we restrict them to just two goals, it’ll be progress.
I think the best we can hope for is a draw.

This is a 'just for fun' thread that hopefully will contain discussion on forthcoming match rather than spreading some interesting comments over forum.

I forecast 3 winners on The Rovers Raffle on Saturday.

First prize has been bumped up to £200 and £25 second and third prizes also on offer.

Well worth a flutter on Saturday. Look out for raffle ticket sellers around the ground before the match.

Paul Tisdale is the is the second longest serving manager in the EFL (at about 11 years), which is second only to Arsène Wenger.
He is "not taking anything for granted against 'slow starters' Forest Green Rovers".

I'll hope for the best and go for 1-1.

Watch out for Forest Focus tomorrow which has news of the first Meet The Manager of the season on 21 September.

It also gives details of s Sporting Dinner coming up in October.

Grab a copy as it's being handed out before the match tomorrow.

And dont forget to have a flutter. £200 first prize tomorrow with 2 further chances to win as well.

The most difficult one to predict yet, so I'll edge towards a positive result. 2-2.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
