North stand

Postby Bronco » Wed Sep 13, 2017 12:52 pm

Time to give it back to away fans. It is embarrassing to have 50 of our fans in there when there is plenty of room in the south stand while the Lincoln fans had to endure those conditions on the West Terrace. I don't think we are getting any advantage from it either. North Stand will never have much atmosphere with current attendance and when the away fans pack out the whole West terrace they often get more opportunity to rile up our players than when they are just confined to behind the goal.

Do those who bought their season tickets in the North Stand regret doing so now? Don't know why anyone would have rather gone in there last night with the rain blowing in unless they already had their ticket.

I would much rather go in the north stand.

Much more space, and a lot less swearing.

I go to a football match to watch and concentrate on football -not spend 30 minutes of that on the phone texting and i don't need 'atmosphere'

everyone to their own though.

Im not in the clap the away fans for coming, jolly nice, bravo camp. But I do think it is shocking to not offer people some cover on a night like last night.

What are the rules/regs that mean we cant?

In terms of numbers could all the Lincoln fans have fitted in the North stand last night?

I agree, it was amusing for a while to see them in the rain but we really should have given up the North Stand to them last night. Our hospitality was poor.

If writing the truth is naughty .......guilty my lord. If they can't accept constructive criticism it is a pathetic response from the club....time they grow up.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
