Over 3,000 supporters are expected to make their way to The New Lawn on Friday evening as FGR take on local rivals Swindon Town in a Sky Bet League Two clash.
With the game set to kick off at 7.45pm meaning many fans are set to head straight to Nailsworth after work commitments, the club would like to confirm catering and refreshments arrangements so supporters of both teams can make the most of their evening at Forest Green.
Carol Embrey Suite
With the popularity of our VIP dining opportunity, the Carol Embrey will be limited standing room only, with food served in disposable containers only. There will be additional outlets to buy drinks and cakes in the concourse.
Black and White Lounge
The Black and White Lounge however at the opposite end of the East Stand corridor will open as normal with the bar open and a number of television screens on to show the build up to Friday’s fixture.
East Stand Concourse
As the Carol Embrey Suite will be full, there will be an additional bottle bar as well as tea, coffee and cake serving stations in the concourse to help meet the demand both during the build up to the game and at half time.
The Green Man
Forest Green’s onsite pub, The Green Man, will be open exclusively for Home Supporters from 4:45pm, serving a great selection of cold drinks, hot food and snacks.
With a number of televisions around the walls and lots of space for supporters, it’s the perfect place to use for a pre-match drink before the big kick off.
Away Supporters
Swindon fans will have exclusive use of our away bar; a marquee located at the front of the ground behind the North Stand.
This will be open from 4:45pm and will serve a range of larger, cider, wine and soft drinks right up until kick off. There will also be a selection of bar snacks available on the day from this outlet.
Inside the ground, travelling supporters will be able to purchase hot food, cold drinks and snacks from the West Terrace catering outlet once the turnstiles are open at 6:15pm.
Outside Food Outlets
Girish’s Indian stall will also be open from 4:45pm for this game, serving a great range of tasty vegan Indian street food; this is located at the front of the stadium next to the away bar and is open to both home and away supporters.
