I started work early today so I could finish early.
Caught the train home instead of the bus.

Now I'm sitting here in front of the TV watching....hoping....and praying.

Good luck guys. We can do this. :)

After the usual early wobbles thought we looked much improved but even after we had most of the ball not really threatening ourselves yet. Swindon still came far closer far more often though so nervous second half coming up.

So far so good. No goals conceded & the luck has been with us.
It's great to be able to see instead of hear. Drissa is just class.
We've had more possession. We just need Bugiel now.

P.S. I've been impressed with Gomes too.

Bradley has done well.

This could go either way, but it is nervous...

Can't deny he did relatively well to start with and made a good save but Russell should be starting. Experience over youth every day of the week in that position.

Played well today but the substitutions ruined our game. No choice with Bennett but we fell apart and sat way too deep as soon as Traore was taken off. Omar also wasted out wide needed to be uptop with Doidge.

Pathetic.

Sentence removed, please read the forum rules.

Feel sorry for Bradley Collins today he played well up until the howler at the end.

No part of that was even close to being good enough today. 2nd best everywhere. No-one played well except possibly Drissa and B.Collins (for 85 minutes) Needed some inspiration of the wings and our best winger is rotting in the reserves.

Had enough of this garbage now

You can't blame the keeper.
The score could've been worse if it wasn't for him.
The defenders have to mark players and defend!

A fan who clearly knows nothing about football.

A defender should not be clearing from that position, it had to be the keepers.

As I said, he was relatively good, but he shoulders the blame for conceding goal 1 and 2.

That being said, we only have to concede one and we lose the game because we can create chances for a toffee!!!!!!

The midfield is an absolute joke! They are as creative as a man stuck on life support machine.

If I was Doidge, I would be inclined to not play again until it's sorted out. Truly terrible.

Swindon looked the stronger side and deserved to win, but we battled well for 85 minutes so gutted to lose it like that.

If only Drissa could play 90 minutes.

We held a top league team for 86 minutes, then the errors crept in. Poor marking for the first and sorry it was a terrible error by the keeper for the second in injury time. Saying that he kept us in it with some good saves.

Completed team sheet for those who print out a copy: http://www.forestgreenroversfc.co.uk/id31.html

Attendance: 3305 (804 from Swindon)

Man of the Match: Drissa Traore

Disappointed for another lost TV broadcast match.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
