Good choice although I must admit I thought Cooper was the right choice after Pennock. Very disappointed with his attitude to everyone around him especially the fans and some of who we consider to be good players that he has frozen out. Only himself to blame if he gets the chop.

Great post.

Us fans have been brilliant this season. We are not to blame for this rubbish.

Cooper should do the honourable thing and resign.

We all know he won't though.

My choice would be Kevin Nicholson

Very unlucky with what he had to do with Torquay and the finances there. When it counted he had that team grinding results out and pulling clear of relegation. Just what we need at the moment.

Bit of financial backing he could take the team far

Cotterill won't take a job below L1 at the very least.

He's among the front runners to replace 'Arry at Birmingham.

Cooper did a good job last season and recruited very well (Noble, Drissa, Doidge ect). But he has bungled this season and left our squad in a right mess.
Cotteril would be a big coup, can't see us getting him.
Justin Edinburgh would be a good choice imo

Yeah, always done well working on a small budget. Experienced as well! As good as I thought Cooper was when he joined was he really experienced enough? The last real manager with experience we had was the great Jim Harvey. He wasn't to bad with the budget etc we had at the time was he...

John Still is passed it. D and R have the resources to get out of the NL and not managed it yet.

The problem is I cannot think of a viable realistic name that is more then just a survival merchant or shall we say will compromise an enjoyable match for winning IE whack it and pray.

Don't know why you asked, we still have a Manager. If your at work how would you feel if people were asking who was going to have your job even though you weren't thinking of leaving.

This question should be asked when there is a place.

I was going to say anyone... But Hockaday and Lewer come under that banner!

Anyone else though!

Someone that can man manage (not loose the changing room), and someone that has some clue in regards to tactics.

Please don't leave it too long DV!

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
