Friendly club on the hill

Postby thegreenman » Wed Sep 27, 2017 4:21 pm

Not quite sure what has happened to the club the last couple of seasons. We seem to be going backwards with our attitude towards fans.

Our treatment of each other on here. The away fans treatment. Issues with stewards. Management vs fans etc etc.

Could anyone really argue that we are still the friendly club on the hill?? Can’t quite put my finger on when the dynamic changed

Wait til we get to the PL/Championship. (We might...one day!)
You'll notice the difference then, I assure you.

You will be nothing but a number.

A very small insignificant fish in a very big unfriendly pond.

FGR may have faults but is still the friendliest club on the hill.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
