I agree we should go back to what we do best, rather then trying to be pragmatic and go away from the passing game. Defending is our weakest area, so rather then concentrating so much on it lets just go all out attack and try and outscore teams. Might not work but at least it will be entertaining. Would rather lose 5-3 having a go then 2-0 trying to contain teams.

You might have a point Kentstripe, the time we did that was when we beat Yeovil...a game that convinced me that this squad has enough character to turn things round. We just need to cut out a few errors and replicate that level of commitment and we should be fine!

Interesting he mentions trying it with the same defence and it not working. My money is on a return of Manny. Hopefully Liam will come back refreshed and we will see the Nobes of last season. MC also said about two up front. It will be good for Doidge to have some support whoever is given the role. Come on Rovers!

And hope the Accrington goalkeeper is as useless as Yeovil's.
Your hands-down winner.

That would be a good start...if it is the case I'm backing us to win 5-4 tomorrow!

Thought that was quite a good interview, he's under a lot of pressure which is deserved... But came across very calm I think we'll win tomorrow but unfortunately I've had that feeling for the last 3 games!

Yes, that would be the sort of luck we need. MCis right that a win would change things a lot but without luck to offset our inadequacies, I just can't see it happening tomorrow.

Still it's good to hear that he is remaining calm and positive.

Certainly Noble. I expect Cooper to be back too though.

And Gomes and Brown maybe.

Who knows as MC struggles to find his best team 10 games in.

Whoever plays I just want to see hard work and commitment throughout. The results may not come - I don't expect it - but without commitment, determination and effort we have no chance. Apart from bad body language from Doidge at times (and I understand his frustration), I've not really seen heads drop yet. Not today either please lads. You all need to care.

Creative players? What is cooper thinking...

Maybe he might employ some tactics too? Maybe start with the best players and not take them off?

Na. Must be dreaming!!!!?

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
