As i recall from one of your pedantic posts at the start of the season you prefer literal interpretations not metaphors or sub context.

So you are not clear what HT does but still prepared to dismiss her as an 'Ecotricity minion'? Downright rude.

And why would getting an experienced voice necessarily help? Loads of clubs have introduced some kind of Director of Football or similar role between owner and manager with bad outcomes (normally for the manager - or perhaps that is what you are after).[/quote]

she works for Ecotricity, so does the secretary, as far as I am aware, all staff do? Minion was not being derogatory to her, its just a modern day term? Sure she and others do great jobs, but, my point all along has been that a football minded person, on the board would be a positive for the club, even cabinet ministers in specialized jobs have specialist advisors, its just plain old fashioned common sense!!

The idea of minions at Ecotricity is well worth a Photoshop moment.

Doggy, I think youre on the way to loosing the argument when you have cabinet Ministers and common sense in the same sentence. Yes they do have advisors, but they give ministers the answers they want to hear.  ;)

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
