I'm going for 1-0 to us. And yes that includes a clean sheet! (Remember those?)

The reason I sometimes predict us to lose is because I actually wouldn't mind getting a prediction correct for once this season! Seriously we're in October and I haven't got a single result correct yet, fuming!!
...Because we know Tranmere will come back but it's WOOLERY AT THE OTHER ENNNNNDDDD......GOAL 3-1 to Forest Green

It's Newport's home record that's particularly strong, we can definitely win this one.

Hard to see us not conceding sadly...

A nervy 2-1 win.

And that's heart ruling head a bit...!

Our last league fixture against Saturdays opponents was in 2013 in the Blue Sq Prem where FGR put 5 past Newport without reply. Anyone brave enough to go for the same score this time around?

I remember that game so well : we had been defeated by Newport at home on Boxing Day and then went to Rodney Parade and completely dominated the match on the worst playing surface ( they had a rugby match there the night before) of the season.

Nors scored a hat trick and Styche and Yan K chipped in with goals. Kieron Forbes and the smiling Eddie Oshodi had memorable games for us, both having just returned from injury. Sadly the season deteriorated and in April we lost five times to fairly poor sides.

RyRover offered a 1-0 win on this free game.
But on Pitchfork's paid game it is only TimB to enter his month's predictions.

Mr Cooper wants a 'performance'

i say bollxxks to the frigging performance-just get 3 points.

that given, one or two performances/swallows don't make a summer for me:

2-1 to newport-but everyone will presumably be happy because of the 'performance and effort.

To be fair Michael I'm sure everybody would be much happier with a win no matter how it comes, we have just been much happier with the last few games as at last the team is looking like they could compete as opposed to the half a dozen games where we looked a bit clueless.
I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
