Is Dan Wishart injured or just out of favour (again!)

I was expecting him to play tonight and Saturday or at least be on bench.

I might need to change my goalscorer in prediction competition if he's never going to be seen again!

Interesting line up.

Bugiel and who up front. Scott laird left back but who right back?

Midfield drissa, Randall, and who else? Manny and Collins?

Strong subs bench.

Decent game so far.

Pity Stevens has borrowed CCs shooting boots. Pity too about Iocavitti’s injury. Randall looking the best of the fringe players to me but not much for Bugeil or James to feed off and the final ball needs to be better.

Still, well worth the £6 so far.

Love it Tommo. Come rain or shine, good on you.

I was going to come along tonight because of the cheap tickets but my mate got injured in five a side and I had to drive him home so couldn't get there in time. It's a shame as I like to see how the fringe players do and who makes a case for a recall. Oh well.

As for Wishart NFR, he was at the club on Saturday and looked in good spirit.

He was in good spirit? It's Halloween.

He should have played then. We might have won.

Curious we only named six subs tonight. I'm sure there is rationale to it.

A good workout for players on the fringes of the first team and of course we are still in the next round. Sounds like Stevens came on and have a good game.

Final completed team sheet if you want to print out a copy: http://www.forestgreenroversfc.co.uk/id31.html

Attendance: 590 (86 from Swansea City)

Man-of-the-Match: Jordan Stevens

On to the FA Cup match on Saturday.

Well that was entertaining. Played them off the park for 75 minutes and then lost 2-0. Once Drissa was gone we fell apart in midfield, but what a player young Stevens is. Looks about 14, moves well, picks a pass, a very good player in the making.

If Saturday is as entertaining, with a win of course, a good weeks football.

For at least two thirds of that game we looked as good if not better than the Swans I thought.

Randall looked really sharp in the first half and Monthe like he might challenge for a first XI berth as soon as this weekend.

Stevens also caught the eye when he came on - not out of place at all amongst a bunch of Premier League hopefuls.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
