So important and so nice that he appreciates us and realises we have to work together. We need to support our team and our team needs our support.

My priority after the match on Saturday was to applaud our players until they left the pitch.

And I always will, despite the result.

That's what supporters do.

:)

What about praise for us older guys and girls from MC. We seemed to be in the majority at Crawley last Sat., - did not see too many youngsters there.

Youngsters behind goal.
The rest of us in stand seats.
Watch the video and you'll see the youngsters all rushing to celebrate first goal with Doidge.
And they were very vocal - I agree with MC that they were brilliant at game.

I agree, there were a few youngsters but mostly older folks behind the goal. I met a few fans from other clubs who had come for a nosey. They where very impressed with everything except the refereeing!

Such an entertaining game.

Let's give him reason to praise the home support after the game against Crewe!

The home support has been really good most games this season in my opinion.

Its been variable - and not always in relation tot he scoreline. I think we have to get behind the team from the off every game and show a bit f resilience when we go behind. Its hard and MC s right that he and the team need to give the crowd something to get behind, but we have to be a bit more consistent imo. At our best, we are very good and helped by the acoustics and ground layout. The game late today is, because it is against a fellow struggler, critical and we have to be at our best then

Agree Tommo, some games it has been excellent, others less so. There is talk in football of leaders on the pitch, we need to be the leader off it and make noise from the moment the teams come on to the pitch...and keep going!

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
