Just a refresh. Is anyone travelling down on Saturday from the South East (London area) and back on Saturday? I'd happily pay petrol share. I can get to anywhere on the tube or train from Clapham Junction.

The trains are well and truly screwed from Paddington to stroud and back on Saturday.

Tough game, Exeter are a good side but have been a bit up and down recently. Need a good performance and ideally Osbourne to be fit. Going to be positive and say home advantage is going to see us battle to a 2-1 win.

Unfortunately looking like I might not make this one, fingers crossed we get the win though, a money spinning third round tie could make a big difference.

Like others, I am concerned about the fitness of our midfield and if we can't dominate in the centre, I think we will lose.

Exeter ended Accrington's impressive recent run on Saturday and I expect them to be well supported and well up for this game.

Very dissappointed that I can't go

Tim.

It is a long day but here is an option for you.

Clapham Jun 0927 - Cam & Dursley 1314( Changing a Salisbury)
Cam & Dursley 1856 - Clapham Jun 2223( Changing at Bristol PW and Reading)
Need a mate to pick up/drop off at C&D or taxi it.

EDIT:
Just looked again. trains are running back to London in the evening

Alternatively chat up one of your mates on forum and ask if you can crash out for night in their spare bedroom.
[Sorry Tim, but I don't have a spare room.]

Thanks Shane. Earlier in the week there were no trains back from stroud until 8.30pm then it's train coach train. That's the way it will have to be it seems.

On a sadder note , and Im only going on the one game |Ive seen you.
thought you were very poor on Saturday
...I do fear for your survival this season
hope I'm wrong , but you need a drastic reshuffle on that performance
.we are only mid table at best but....
..... hope I'm wrong !

It wasn't a good game, admittedly, although you still couldn't beat us. Especially in the second half, when we lost a key midfielder (Ozzy). In fact it was reminiscent of some of our earlier games. Feel free to keep coming back. I think that we have what it takes to stay up and build on our better performances.

When was it that you beat us last ? ;)

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
