Need a win to help us scramble clear of the woods as, in theory, we could be bottom two again by 5pm Saturday.

Last time I went to see Grimsby v FGR away it was a mid week fixture. There were 8 away fans, a fox and Footieman ate David Drew's half time fish & chips. The away crowd was announced as; 'and the away attendance from Forest Green Rovers is 8, presumably they all came in the same car' cue laughing and applause.

I remember the final score as 1-1 with Reece Styche scoring the equaliser making for a hostile and hasty exit.

Smash it for me tomorrow guys.

The Fishy 0-2 FGR.

Sums up Grimsby as a club that.

Horrible club, hope we get a result tomorrow for many reasons.

It will probably be the other way round but here’s hoping.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
