Cloughie's knocked in an OG for Barnet to take us out the bottom two  We sound so much better this half, let's nick something!

On reflection grimsby squandered a ton of chances but we came close to nicking something against the odds.

Dreadful news about even more injuries. FA Cup is a sideshow now for raising a team to get us back out of the relegation zone. Going to be tough.

Disappointing result, played better with 10 by the sounds of it, but nothing to show for it.

Desperately need some of our injured players back asap, as it stands we're without Osbourne, Traore, KMB, Bennett, Fitzwater and possibly Iacovitti as well. At least Monthe's back for Tuesday.

Well, with the injuries, red card and everything else in the mix that isn't a terrible result. One goal conceded from a penalty (albeit the rebound). That's not to be sniffed at and other teams would have folded.

We have to face the fact we won't win every game and the bottom of the table is tight, so we might drop back in. Time to stick with them and not panic until January where a couple of arrivals will be welcomed.

On to Tuesday where hopefully we won't be too tired from today and we maybe have one or two more players back.

I don't think Grimsby deserved to win that at all.
We only had ten men, nine for the last 15 mins and they still only managed to beat us by one goal.

We never gave up and fought to get back into it. Brave performance. I'm proud of them.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
