Tom

Is this thread for Pitchfork's league, your league or both?

They should do a unification bout at the end of the season for all these different belts (though of course not much to predict then)

Exeter 1 FGR 1

We looked, from the highlights, a bit unfortunate to get nowt at Carlisle. This is going to be tough given the amount of travel we have been doing and the relative amount of rest Exeter have had but I think we still have a committed team and can scrape something here.

Not sure if this is the right place to post (apologies if not). Exeter have done a piece looking at players to play for both clubs. A good bit of nostalgia in there...

Wha'? Carlisle had far more decent chances.

This is the free fun thread while Pitchfork's paid competition is for the serious players whose monies pay into various FGR clubs.
I agree it is a bit silly having two similar threads going at same time, but once started must continue until end of season.

Next season there are plans for a huge and complete and attractive overhaul of Pitchfork's competition which I hope will attract double the number of players as at present.

True but the penalty might have been given and the offside on Reid looked marginal; Wishart seemed to make a difference. Hard to tell from highlights but we looked a lot better than in the home game against them (which was awful). Anyway, we certainly need a point or two from the next couple of games - no good saying nearly got something.

I am going for a cheeky little 1-2 away win. How many are making the journey?

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
