Wycombe aren't particularly fantastic on the road. A point is certainly doable. 1-1. Doidge.

Onto the next one with barely any rest. A lot of it will come down to recovery and how many players Cooper and Ainsworth can each bring in.

Tomorrow could well be the last time we see some players in FGR colours by the sounds of it, so hopefully they play with pride and steal something from the game to give a fairly positive send off.

Hopefully a big response to yesterday's defeat and the scenes after the game. 2-1 win.

does anyone know if game is going ahead, as pitch was apparently waterlogged a couple of days ago?

Expecting a very sour atmosphere if we go 1-0 down early. I'll be supporting the team but certainly not Cooper.

Same here, I don't have any issue with the players, except the fact that some of them are just not quite good enough but that isn't their fault really, the players attitude has always been 100% the managers stinks...

FGR have of late been playing with erratic performances. Against Carlisle we were awful but the subsequent two games were well played despite getting nil points.
At Exeter we were better team before game abandoned and against Lincoln game, FGR gave a good account of themselves. We could and should have come away with a point..
I suspect 2018 will see an upturn of fortune which could well start with game against Wycombe.
Despite Wycombe being 5th in current form table [6 games] with 10 points from W D W L W L they are only 22nd in away form with 2 pts from D L L L D L.
Okay FGR are 24th with just 1 pt in the form table [L D L L L L], but are 20th in home form with 7 pts from L W W D L L.
Therefore current home and away form favours FGR.
I forecast FGR 2-1 Wycombe.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Only two forecast a 2-1 away defeat for FGR at Lincoln.
Camel & KG111 move up to next high column.

Results are obviously not good enough, and it's fair enough people aren't happy and that MC is under pressure. It's a results business, and we're not getting results.

A sour atmosphere during the game will do nothing to help the team though. Surely what everyone wants is MC to turn this around and be successful?

Anyone who made the effort to go yesterday will have seen that judging by the effort the players put in, he certainly hasn't lost the dressing room. He also clapped the fans yesterday, as did Scott Lindsey who always makes an effort with the fans, before and after games.

Some people seem to want to twist everything they can to try and make MC look bad it seems, which is a bit sad. The bloke was a great player and captain for us, and is also a promotion winning manager.

Nothing would please me more then to see someone who has strong historical links with the club being successful here, and altough no one can deny this season has been poor so far we are not a million miles away from being a side more then good enough to survive fairly comfortably, which would be a perfectly acceptable first season at this level.

Seems like DV is backing MC in the transfer window and we'll be seeing some good signings coming in over the next month. We need to them to hit the ground running, and imo a positive atmosphere will help with that.

I will clap the players on and clap the players off, as always, but Cooper NO !! If the man had any conscience he would stand down, tactics woeful , signings woeful , only a miracle can save him now!! Beating Wycombe would be a start !!

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
