So the 'maiden's prayer' has arrived. Welcome and good luck - you'll like Christian. Thanks and well done to Dale, Coops & co

Top signing, welcome to the club Reuben.

Looking forward to the combination of Doidge & Reid tomorrow - compensation for not playing WBA. I suspect Grecian fans would rather have kept Reid and forgo WBA

Don't mess about with benching tomorrow. Get 'em all (signees) on right away ... Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war.

I think that's exatly what we'll do. MC kept saying he couldn't wait till January to get new signings in the team, at least 3 will start tomorrow imo.

I said that I felt it was the forward areas that were the most important area to strengthen and this signing will definitely help. Let’s hope we don’t mess around too much with the ball at the back end of the pitch and make sure we actually get some crosses or passes into the box for Reid and Doidge and utilise them.

With MC saying he is there to play alongside Doidge i wonder if tactics are changing and we maybe go 3-5-2 to give us more attacking power.

Fantastic signing. Glad I didn't put my Port Vale prediction in too early.

Well, they have all been playing regularly at this level in the first half of this season so yeah, why the hell not?

I second that, get Reuben up front with Christian, go 3-5-2 and tell them to play like the second half last week and let's see what we can do.

Great strike-but even more importantly-he looked completely at home/accomplished at this level from the very first minute.

simplyjust looked like he 'belonged' (as did Rawson and Gunning )

Good body strength -i was pleasantly surprised as i feared his signing had been a bit over hyped on here-but i can see the quality

Very good debut. Tremendous and crucial goal but what I liked as much was his obvious effort to try to communicate and work with Doidge, and also his work rate. He and Doidge will tire a lot of defences with their running and persistence.

Doidge looked classy again today too.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
