Swindon v FGR: match forecast

Local derby game for both clubs. Swindon have already won and lost to FGR this season. They had a good 2-0 away win at TNL but lost 1-0 at home to FGR in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Swindon sit 14th in current form [6 games] with 9 pts from L L W L W W
FGR sit 22nd in same table with 3pts from L L L L L W.

At home Swindon are having a bad time and they sit 22nd in current home form with 7pts from
W D L L L W
FGR sit 12th in current away form with 7 pts from W W D L L L

Not an easy game to predict: Swindon’s poor home form against FGR’s new set of players.
Both teams won last league game.
I’ll wait until after Tuesday’s match against Yeovil to make my prediction.

Only two perfect forecasts for the FGR 1-0 Port Vale home win.
Well done New Forest Rover and our Latin scholar.

It was interesting to note that those who made a forecast later in week were more optimistic than earlier forecasts.
Obviously most predictas are confident of getting better results with the new players in team.

I may as well stick to my main forecast competition prediction: Swindon 2 FGR 1.

But given the signings I am very hopeful we will do better.

They seem to have been a lot dodgier at home than away, so ours for the taking 3-0.

Swindon 0 - Rovers 1. Seems like we've got a defence now. And we're surely going to score 1.

I'm fairly optimistic. Not sure we'll have enough to win down there realistically but I'll go for a spirited 2-2

Need to make every game count now

WE NEED POINTS!!!
...Because we know Tranmere will come back but it's WOOLERY AT THE OTHER ENNNNNDDDD......GOAL 3-1 to Forest Green

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
