I’m feeling very nervous as I set out for the match. I didn’t expect much against Coventry and so didn’t feel nervous. Today the expectation is that we will get something from the game.

We will if we are on form and everyone plays well but will they?

How will you feel on Saturday? Big big game. It's going to be a proper battle. 6 pointer.

Agreed - big game. These are the sorts of games we must not lose. I am hopeful and have predicted a win for us. I'm hoping the illness has passed though and that Ossie has no ill effects from the kick he took on Tuesday.

I also wonder if the game will be on since I think their last one was postponed and there has been more rain since. I presume it is drying out but will be heavy.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
