Chatted with quite a few Tranmere fans before and after the game last May, they were optimistic as were we before the game and certainly gracious in defeat. Having made a fruitless journey last February to Merseyside, for the game that was postponed, I would welcome an opportunity to return for a game against them in the Football League. I also hope they are promoted, by whichever means required.

For me-it would be so much easier sharing that sentiment if Norwood was not there ,but thats not their supporters fault

Harsh in my opinion. For every momentary lapse of discipline there may have been from Nors, there were 4, 5 or even more moments of high class (at the level we were at) which certainly have lived long in my memory - not to mention 50 goals at almost one every three games. Not bad for a player who wasn't an out and out striker. One of my favourite players from the Conference years - I can still see him chasing down a cleared corner and racing most of the length of TNL to set Matty Taylor up for a goal in a memorable 3-0 win over Luton on a cold evening way back when.
