I can't wait.

I won't have this constant dilemma ever again of what to wear when I come to a match!

Does anyone know who's making it? Got a feeling it will be made out of some sort of sustainable material or by some specialist manufacturers in keeping with the sustainability theme of the club. I'm imagining Wish running down the wing wearing a hemp sack of some description!

with regards to the kit-at last months forum, i thought DV said it was going to be really cool and funky; but equally that it was going to be revealed quite soon-the impression i got by 'quite soon was well within a month-i'e by now-but perhaps someone with a better memory can confirm or deny that bit

Of which about 4 are of the required standard to be in a playoff challenging squad, which is what Dale wants.

I think that is about right - actually I’d say 5 (Rawson, Hollis, Collins, Reid, Doidge) - so there is a lot to do on the recruitment front. I hope Doidge stays and Ossie signs or there will be even more to do

Yes, more development to come but, I agree, he looks capable of being added to the proven core.

Brown might also be good enough in time but I know from having sat in front of some of his biggest critics last season that not all will agree with that..

Wasn't Ossie offered a contract some time ago - like a couple of weeks?
He is obviously doing a lot of thinking. ..... Hmm.
There is no 'I' in team

I've been thinking exactly the same.
The fact that it's taken him this long and he still hasn't signed is a little bit worrying.

Let's not forget a lot of players go away on holiday for a few weeks as soon as the season ends, so maybe he is relaxing on a beach and thinking it over, or alternatively, his agent may be fishing around to see what else is on offer.
I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave.

Returning to the title of the thread - surely it will be some type of ethically produced bamboo fibre kit? Its apparently a great material for making sports gear.

How much would it cost though? It seems whenever you try to shop ethically you’re stung financially. Seems so counter intuitive!

I wonder how the 'reveal' of the new kit is progressing ?

as i post above-i am sure at early may forum it was to be revealed 'quite soon'-i.e implication was well before july

haven't the body to carry off a football shirt with any element of panache , but regardless-looking forward to seeing what the players will be wearing .
especially as DV said it will be cool and funky , albeit imo the only people who can semi get away with wearing a football shirt as a fashion item are slim women under 30

Based on the recent video on the FGR twitter feed...Cooper appears to be wearing Hummel training gear.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
