Yesterday was an all round foot in mouth for climate change awareness. Publicity yes. Dick heads on the train yes. East end hooligans ? Give me a break.....

The gig economy is real, and alive and kicking all over London and no doubt the rest of the country. It's a new way of life and will properly kick in after Brexit.

And why target the most environmentally friendly means of travel around London ?

Because the disruption is maximum.

Actually, walking and cycling are the most environmentally way of travelling round London! ;)

Tube and bus being in the second tier, then taxi, and finally good old private transport.

Even buses and taxis have multiple tier because some are diesel and some are hybrid or electric. Bad air quality too is a problem which is big and buses and taxis contribute to that.

Agreed, but multiple occupancy vehicles are better than private vehicles.

Vigilante mob violence is not welcome and must be condemned. Dale would be in his rights to ban these people from our club.

Here they are with their derogatory profile photo and confrontational hashtag:

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
