I'm surprised that nobody has nominated the Gym Bar...they do a nice pasty and chips!

Tudor Arms, Slimbridge. Longing to return for a once a week lunch time out there for the Indian dish of the day and a copious cup of Sauvignon blanc! :(

I've thought of somewhere.
It's kind of cheating because I've never eaten there but I don't want this top ten to fail!

Coffee is nice. It's cheap. It's refillable for free :D

And I've had numerous vegetarian breakfasts in their London pubs over the years and I love them.

So:

8) The Wetherspoons pub in Stroud. No idea what it's even called.
Coffee in the morning, wine while waiting for a train, toilets all day long and I'm sure their food is wonderful!

The New Inn, Waterly Bottom, North Nibley, Nr Dursley................remote former cider inn, beautiful setting nestled under the Cotswold Hill. When i lived nearby, the landlady always said that if they were snowed in, the first pint was on the house if you reached the pub .......I achieved that once !.

Ramsbottom FC, but the only non league ground that really brings back happy memories is The Lawn. I was so fortunate to be able to share this experience with my son & father

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
