Good post NFR - Get behind the Manager, and get off his back. It is really boring to keep reading the sniping from EE. We both chatted to him at our Youth game away to Dulwich Hamlet, when he had driven a couple of hours in the evening to show support to our youngsters. That shows how much he cares for the well-being of our club. So support him.......or leave us alone !.

It is a thread where people are speculating on reasons why a player may have left. Perfectly valid to question the manager’s role in the situation.

One post said maybe Rawson was not in Cooper’s plans. It is just as legitimate to speculate whether Rawson wanted to be part of his plans.

What is the problem with that?

Premature speculation ?

Please don't be confused.
There is nothing wrong with your posts and opinions (and you are definitely not boring!)

What is boring (and unacceptable) is when another poster continually uses this forum to verbally attack our manager.

Oh come on it is a discussion forum. People are entitled to share their opinions on the performance of players, club staff, and the manager.

What discussion topics are “acceptable”? Only opinions that are in agreement of yours?

As for this thread. Several people speculated reasons. One poster has asked for example if Rawson simply didn’t like the style of football. My question was just as acceptable as those.

Come on NFR, you are nicer than this. I have enjoyed your super posts but there is not a need for you to attempt to censor others.

Banned for having an opinion on the football team we both support.

Which opinions would you permit and which would you outlaw?

Sorry? I have not got an idea what you are talking about. I love the forum and have no intention to disrupt it.

Explain why you make such an accusation, please.

Because you don't give me the impression that you love this forum or this club.
You have a habit of winding people up on here and a lot of your comments result in arguments.
Arguments cause bad feeling and disrupt forums.

This thread only got disrupted because several people chose to attack and censor my speculation which was just as valid as the three pieces of speculation from others.

I don’t want to argue but if you and others say a simple non-controversial one line post is “boring” or “unacceptable” of course I am going question why I was targeted and not others and defend myself.

You are more responsible for disrupting this thread than I am. I wasn’t going to contribute after my first post but you have chosen to start an argument.

I think let's all refrain from the negatives.
Time will decide come January this will be the time to decide are we headed in the right direction..
We have a new team,a No2 to MC a young team and no spectators...

What worries me more is if it's all going well and MC leaves ...remember his contract expires June 21...so careful what you wish for.

So please stop bickering free speech and opinions should be the basis of any forum ....they are not personal attacks .. we all have our favourites or not.

Super post Bill. We all want success for the club and as you say we all have differing views on the game we all enjoy and the club we all love. Let us all listen and respect our collective views on FGR without trying to silence anyone.

I am looking forward to a new season and as you say, let us see how the team performs and share our thoughts based on that.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
