Congratulations to Aarran. I'm sure many at FGR will wish him well in his expanded role at Worthing.

Indeed so. I do!

I see Tav is still not getting much game time at Gillingham.

Wishart was an enigma and touted at the time as something of a ‘great catch’. Had the raw materials to be turned into a good player, but not sure he had the footballing brain. Things obviously didn’t work out during his last move either and now finds himself playing in a side that are shipping goals and fighting the drop. Where did it all go wrong?

Tranmere already 4-1 up against Grimsby. Monthe and Norwood both on the score sheet.

Man of the Match ⁦⁦ Ethan Pinnock⁦

⁩He helped BARNSLEY⁩ record their 6th clean sheet in row - first time in 35 years in his

50th league appearance for club

Barnsley have not conceded a goal in open play for over 10 hours

What a Star! We knew he could do it and he's as modest as ever

I thought when he left us that he could play for England. He had injuries in his first season with Barnsley but now he is back to his best, and still improving I’m sure, I’m still hopeful

Ethan was in very strong contention for Player of Season while with FGR but unfortunately was injured and out of action at time of count.
I'm left wondering how the votes would have been cast if he had been injury free.
As it was Christian was a popular choice who could well have won anyway.

Jamie Turley playing for Orient v Telford in the FA Trophy Semi Final 2nd Leg this afternoon.

Sadly, it's Jamie who will be off to Wembley. He did okay.

Jonathan Smith scored for Chesterfield this afternoon.

On the subject of former players and Chesterfield, during half-time in the England game last night there was an advert that featured someone who looked remarkably like Sam Wedgbury.

Great. Maybe he will, at last, get a run in the first team as a starter.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
