Clovis Kamdjo ( St Albans) - remember him? Once scored with an amazing overhead kick for FGR.

He was in the 6th tier ( Nat League N & S) team of the day at the weekend.

I see he played the whole of the second half today so he is obviously beginning to make an impact.

I see on Cheltenhams forum Lindsay Parsons has died.

Lindsay played for FGR after leaving Bristol Rovers and prior to his arrival at The Robins.

A quality full back.

RIP Lindsay

Fighting off the last of the lurgi, missed so many games at TNL this season for one reason or another. Back for Exeter, but at the Bucks today where Reece Styche is starting for Alfreton.

Good 'old' Stoksie, yes one of my all time favourites too

Newport County AFC club legend David Pipe has announced he will retire from professional football at the end of the season after 20 years’ service to the game.

He served us well and carried on at a high level with Newport

Took an u/19 soccer team down to Gosport Borough to play their Academy team yesterday - and came across Ben Jefford who is their manager. Had a good chat, and he told me he is now at Oxford City playing, but with the p/t role at Gosport as well. He is currently in plaster with an ankle injury.....wish him all the best.

Another start for Tahvon today. He seems to be cementing a first team place at Gillingham. I wonder if they will offer him a contract. One that got away?

Hmm. Turns out he was subbed at half time. Gills have a new manager so he may have to prove himself again

No, all professional contracts run until the end of June, as far as I'm aware.

Otherwise the likes of Gunning, Collins, Rawson and Brown would also be out of contract after next Saturday, which would be problematic!

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
