Rob Sinclair -if reported correctly-he was offered the managers position at W-s-Mare this week, and declined the opportunity .

No, all professional contracts run until the end of June, as far as I'm aware.

Otherwise the likes of Gunning, Collins, Rawson and Brown would also be out of contract after next Saturday, which would be problematic!

Grubby too?

Well done to Ethan Pinnock and Kieffer Moore, promoted back to the Championship with Barnsley.

And from me GD. I keep in touch with Ethan & Karl Pinnock and sent them congratulations last night. It would be great if they & Kieffer turned up to support FGR during the Play-Offs

Coops predicted that Ethan & Reece Brown would go on to become Premier League players later in their careers. Good prediction I think, and as Club Captain, Ethan is combining ability with responsibility.

Should have added Bury's Chris Stokes in to the congratulations. They could all meet in the Pennines and travel together to FGR! I guess Prenton Park would be the most convenient for them?!

Theo Archibald an unused sub for Brentford today .

I am not sure-but i don not recall him featuring in their squad for a league game until today .

I hope he can do well for them.
Very well spoken and intelligent guy it seemed .

That's terrific for him. Doidge must be envious seeing this.

love MC to bits-but maybe not his finest hour playing KM very sparingly, and perhaps not trying a bit harder to retain his services ?

I always had the feeling that KM wasn't really committed to FGR and felt that his future was at a league club.

I suspect you are right-but still think MC could have done a bit more with him, to get more out of him whilst at FGR.

I think you're probably right. 5 goals in 4 appearances while on loan at Torquay tells a story.

Could have got more out of him maybe, but him and Doidge didn't play well together and in any case we got promoted that season anyway so not sure how much difference getting more out of KM would have made?

Playing or not, he would have left as soon as Ipswich came in so we wouldn't have had him beyond January that season irregardless.

All worked out pretty well for all parties I would say.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
