Christian Doidge leading the line for Hibs at killie on BT sport now 23mins gone nil nil.
Sparse crowd on a plastic pitch more atmosphere at the New Lawn.
Mind you it's a better surface than our mess of a pitch.

I used to teach Killy's manager Alex Dyer, many years ago in Newham,East London, when he was quite a good footballer.

Matty Taylor on the scoresheet again (twice) for Oxford last night. I still wish he’d been asked to stay with us for longer.

Reece Styche, of whom I guess many will have fond memories, joins Bromsgrove.

If a club is clever, they'll scout Cove Rangers in the Scottish league two. A part-time team but they have money behind them and they have ex Wigan and Hibs midfielder Fraser Fyvie, ex Aberdeen winger/striker Mitch Megginson who has achieved 25-30 goals per season with them and a number of talented players playing well below where they could do.

Goals all over that team who are largely in their mid twenties and I have no doubt whatsoever that there are players in the Scottish lower leagues that would do a job. Kevin Nisbet at Dunfermline will be a fantastic striker for someone too but already has interest from Scottish Premiership and English Championship clubs.

Jared Hodgkiss just scored what could be a winner for Hereford...even former defenders know where the goal is!

(good job that Keiffer moore wasn't rated either )

you're probably right Tommo-i mean i think MC and this alleged d of F guy have only signed 8 strikers this season.

how poor is that -even under hockaday ,there were nine at one time.

no doubt he can find another couple to beat the record-whether they are any good or not (under the MC playing system) seems to be irrelevant .

some may say that 2/3 top strikers with some physical presence and nous would be a much better option-i can't possibly comment

Styche would be an improvement on our lot even now.

Doidges goal today was his 17th of the season going to be 20+ in a much higher league and no pens....

Seven I think (excluding loans), since he left us in 2014. We could do with one like him at the moment.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
