James Alabi scored for Ipswich Town last night in their league cup win.

Based on his performances for us he must now have access to a much larger banjo and barn door.

Are you serious Coyler? Only Tomi Ameobi looked worse in front of goal for FGR though he did not claim "blistering pace"

Clearly the National League/Conference is better than I thought

Hi
Guess who's still not on the bench for Tranmere> ;)
Looking at his Twit posts I suspect he is injured.

I believe he is allegedly injured.

I also note that Brabin has signed another forward today-a good one this time-marlon Jackson-remember him ?-

does that relegate Norwood even further down the pecking order even when fit ?

i think thats about the third or fourth forward he has signed after Norwood signed early summer.
Is there a message in that,-or is it simply a case of another deluded manager saying 'you can never have enough strikers' ?

I think the Tranny weakness is the manager.

Has he achieved success with any of his former clubs? I think The Club might have chosen more wisely, as did Cheltenham & Wrexham

I believe Norwood started the first game of the season, got an assist, but then went off injured after about 60 mins and has not featured since. I would suggest he is likely to still be injured.

At least it's closer to home for him.

Wish him well.

maybe to a small minority of us-Tims post makes alot of sense.

Darren Annon-an immense player for margate(where christian jolley is now-and it was going so well untl then ) in the early 2000's and a super guy.
i forget exactly now-but seem to recall an injury ended his margate carrer.

Is he local to this area now ?

Watched the Welling v Tanmere game and certainly not impressed by Tranmere. Thought Nors and Mangan were very ordinary.

.....and he played all 90 minutes.

Disappointingly for Nors, Welling equalised almost at the end (1-1) after a foul by James on Sam Corne.

Tranmere are 9 points behind FGR, having played a game more!!

He recognised my FGR shirt. He also played for Farnborough Town in the early 2000s against us. Nice guy.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
