The Football Paper

Postby Timb » Mon Aug 28, 2017 8:45 pm

I had a good read of The Football Paper this evening. No Non League Paper yesterday or today.

An interesting read and something else to get used to. Picking up on our opposition's ups and downs as well as a browse up the leagues. (Ethan Pinnock an unused sub). Kayne Wollery given a 4 and subbed after 50 mins.

Also gossip. Some carlyle player has been scoring and assisting this season and puts his new found form down to a change in diet to Vegan.

4 games gone plenty more to go and plenty of teams unhappy. Chesterfield in particular.

A good read.

I can recommend better paper: BRISTOL & SOMERSET SUNDAY INDEPENDENT.
With FGR's promotion the paper now include our team in their very detailed reports and analysis.
Okay it mainly covers teams in the BBC West area but also does cover teams outside the area in lesser detail.
Price: £1.20p

The newspaper you refer to is owned and operated by the Chairman of Truro City - Peter Masters.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
