Thursday 12th October will see FGR and The Supporters Club host a Sporting Dinner evening in The Carol Embrey Suite, with guests, Terry Cooper and the Cooper Family Football. Bob Hunt is Compere for the evening.

Its a long time since a similar event was held at FGR, and I am sure you will enjoy a great night's entertainment and food, for what will be a memorable evening.

Em Franklin will be preparing the 3 course menu and three generations of the Cooper family will be interviewed about the last 50 years in professional football.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with starters served at 7pm, and a full bar for the evening.

Tickets are £25 per person or book a table for eight for £200 and get two free bottles of wine on the table.

To book, please contact FGRFC reception from tomorrow either by telephone on 01453 834 860, or email reception@fgrfc.com

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
