Doors open at 6.30 and the quiz starts at 7.30.

There will be food on the evening offering a range of Chillis and baked potato and other stuff as well.

Tickets are selling well for the quiz night on Friday 8 December. You can pick up tickets from reception or in the Carol Embrey Suite next Saturday before the match.

Just to be clear you don't need to be a member of the Supporters Club to come along for the evening's entertainment, its open to all.

Its a joint fundraiser for FGR Ladies and The Supporters Club.

£5 per person including food.

All welcome Supporters Club members & non-members.

Doors open 6.30pm, Quiz starts 7.30pm.

Teams of up to 6 (rule not too strictly adhered to if you have kids etc.) but if you are an individual or couple you would be able to join up with others on the night.

Cash bar & raffle etc. (so bring some £1 coins please).

If anybody is able to help prepare the food please let us know.

Come along and test your knowledge and maybe win a prize for a great night out.

One other clarification.

There will be a selection of chilli's and baked beans, with baked potatoes and accompaniments on the night.

The food is included in the ticket price. No need to eat before you attend ;)

Just a reminder that it's the Quiz Night this coming Friday Evening.

Around 90 tickets are pre sold and you can buy tickets on the door on Friday night if you haven't made your mind up yet. It's going to be another good night under quiz master Keith Weyman's guidance and hus helper Ray "show me the way" Clegg.

Doors open 6.30 and quiz starts at 7.30.

You won't need to eat beforehand with a range of chillies and baked beans, baked potatoes and accompaniments for your pleasure at the break. Full bar all night.

Tickets are a fiver each and teams of up to 6 or so allowed.

Scratch teams will also be assembled on the night if you're not coming as part of a prearranged team.

All funds raised will be shared 50-50 with FGR LADIES FC.

When did we last play Exeter City in an FA Cup Replay?

You get 20K just for being in the competition.
Group matches were 10K for a win and 5K for a draw.
Round 2 - 20K to the winner
Round 3 - 40K to the winner
quarter -Final - 50K to the winners.
R/Up - 50K
Winner - 100K

So FGR have already won 60K so far.

The club was established in 1883 as Gloucester, they became Gloucester City in 1902, but were briefly known as Gloucester YMCA from 1910 to 1925, before returning to their previous name.

The Gloucester club were founder members of the Mid Gloucestershire League with Forest Green Rovers in 1895.

The Gloucester club disbanded and there was no association rules team in Gloucester for quite a few years.

Gloucester YMCA then formed a new team in Gloucester which went on to become the current Gloucester City.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
