Weather In Stroud

Postby NewForestRover » Tue Dec 12, 2017 12:14 am

Is it really bad there?

Only asking because I've just put BBC news on and there was a reporter in Stroud talking about weather.

It must be bad if they have BBC cameras there.

It's unbearably freezing cold in London but if it's worse up there, wrap up, keep warm, travel safely, take care and think positive.

It will soon be Spring.

Yes we have, unusually, been hit by an arctic blast - snow Sunday and extremely cold tonight (possibly down to -10 C).

The side roads are treacherous, as they are not gritted - black ice everywhere where snow has melted.

It does gradually warm up tomorrow and Exeter will have significantly higher temperatures.

The players trained pm today and the fit and not suspended will be hoping the match is on.

In that case, be extra careful everyone.

Especially those travelling to Exeter.

Good luck. Really hope our wonderful away fans will be celebrating on the way home.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
