In Nailsworth?
Is there any possibility that match may not go ahead on Saturday?

Strong winds, threatening skies but the worst of the intense rain appears to have passed.

There will be occasional showers in the next 48 hours, but it is very unlikely that the game will be in danger of being postponed.

Thanks. Appreciate the info.
I've been putting off buying train tickets because of the weather and risk of postponement.

Hopefully, with the new signings, you will witness a brave new FGR team tomorrow.

Thanks guys.
Nightmare journey so far. It's usually fine but train broke down today.
I was stranded in Reading for half an hour, then stranded in Swindon for 45 mins.

I'm now finally on my way. Looking forward to seeing our new recruits and watching us beat PV.

It's fffreeeeeeezing!!!!!

The things we do for love!

:D

Well it was great football weather and the pitch has held up well considering all the snow, rain and the number of games. Well done Adam!

A mate watching the test in Australia tells me today's temperature was over 45 degrees Centigrade - 113 F

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
