One of the perks of the ambassador season is to parade out with the players before a match. This is an opportunity given to all ambassadors in Y8 and below. This is the current list for our five 'ambassador games' for 2016-17

Please send me a PM or an email if your name is not on the list and you would like to participate in a parade. ( ambassadors ONLY!) Names will appear in the programme, so please let me know if I have spelt your name incorrectly

Photographs from the Barrow Ambassador parade are now on display in the noticeboard at the top of the stadium stairs. There is also a large photograph of all the ambassadors that managed to attend the photoshoot with players in July.

Please note the next parade before the Lincoln match will require those involved to be at the ground by 11.45am as the match is televised and has a 12.15 kick off.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
