Cheers Joycie. You have brightened up many a winter's afternoon. Keep in touch and let us all know how you are getting on, and we look forward to seeing you at TNL when you can make it.

All of the above x 10.

After all, what is FGR without Joycie?

I really don't know and many of us don't.

Good luck fella.

A role model to the end! Thanks for taking the trouble to express your thoughts Joycie, you have distilled so much into those few short paragraphs!

All the very best for the future....you have touched so many lives in what history will show to be one of the most memorable periods in the rise of FGR.

Your words are proof of your craft Richard. They serve to inspire.

You have adapted superbly to so many challenges in such a short space of time and have done so without detriment your sparkling personality. You will thrive and all at FGR will delight in your progress.

Take good care

Great words. Thanks for all your help with the media - even dropping into the SNJ to sort an IT issue out for me!

You sported so many hats at the club and the hours you worked were incredible.

I will fondly remember our away trips - many laughs had - and you always kept smiling. Not the end for you, but a new beginning.

Our two vodcasts will go down in history!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I promise you will look back in 30 years time and realise this is the point where or were you understood the world. You can still be as much a FGR fan as all of us

Class as always Joycie.

Was a pleasure working with you over the last few years.

Remember this is only 'the end of the beginning' of your career.

You'll be sorely missed at FGR but there is much more in store for you matey.

Take care and we'll catch up soon.

Some lovely comments here for a great guy who has given his all over the past few years to a Club that is in his blood. I join with everyone in wishing you well Rich in the future. I am sure your career will continue to flourish. Good Luck mate.

Nice to see Aussie Stu posting above. Is it true that you also are no longer working for the Club/Ecotricity and have become a casualty of the 'restructure'? If so, I hope things are working out for you.

Joycie
Good luck for the future - although you will not need any as you are a talented person - success awaits you wherever you go.
Thanks for the time when my Father Denis Dangerfield had a minutes applause after dying in his 90`s ( a great innings).
You were superb reading out my notes about the OLD FGR and what these people from the past participated in raising the level of the club on the field and off.
I salute you for your PROFESSIONALISM.
Regards
Peter D

No I've moved on by choice. Was just time career-wise to take another step up the ladder. Have taken the energy route rather than the football route, but I'll still be around the club on match days as a supporter.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
