Liam Nobles available on a free. Got to be worth a punt? I'd welcome him back.

Good to see and chat with Kev Nicholson at the game. A great player for us in his day. Assured that he was only there taking in the game :D :D :D

I've just had a month long holiday in Scotland and was surprised to see three ex Vanarama League players playing for Motherwell, obviously Elliot Frear plus Richard Tait who played for Grimsby against Frear at Wembley and also Louis Moult, ex Wrexham.
Motherwell beat Glasgow Rangers yesterday 2-0 with Moult scoring both goals. They now meet Glasgow Celtic in the final.

I bought the non league paper today seeing I had an extra hour in bed and to read reports on shortwood and Brimscombe. Plenty of former FGR players scoring (as well as Keiffer Moore)

Jamie Turley. Borehamwood
James Norwood. Tranmere
Mark Ellis. Leyton Orient.
Tom Bender. Own goal
John Parkin. York City
Reece Styche. Tamworth.

Good report on FGR in The Football League Paper as well. Time to get up....

Good list!

Kieffer is on fire at the moment.

I see also Matty Taylor is back regularly in the Bristol City team after injury and that they are flying at the moment too. Might he play in the Premiership? Very good player for us who has clearly continued to develop.

It is. Wont be moving his family apparently, and neither will his coaching staff (Jamie Day and Neil Withington probably amongst them). They will instead stay up there together during the week in rented accomodation.

Barrow parted with Cox mainly due to his direct style of football. Not sure AP's team will be free flowing either though, so a bit surprised they've gone for him.

Went to Worthing v Dorking last night, and Aarran Racine was taking the Worthing warm-ups before the match , and stood in the home dug-out all game. Maybe taking his coaching badges ?. Seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself.

Hi Michael, Yes Worthing have resolved the issue with the surround - I hear from some that it became a slight legal problem with the firm who laid it, now happily resolved.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
